Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must have a serious infection caused by bacteria that are resistant to carbapenem antibiotics, like pneumonia, a blood infection, or another infection (not a urinary tract infection).
  • You have already received polymyxin B or colistin through a vein for at least 3 days.
  • You started treatment with polymyxin B or colistin within 7 days of the infection starting.
  • You do not have a urinary tract infection that spread to your blood.
