Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You are in good general health (ASA I or II), meaning you have no serious health conditions or only mild ones.
  • You are scheduled to have a rhinoplasty (nose surgery) under general anesthesia.
  • You have not taken any painkillers or other medications in the 48 hours before the surgery.
  • You do not have a history of drug addiction, heart disease, lung disease, kidney or liver problems, metabolic or neurological disorders, or asthma.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
