Who can take part
- You have early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (stage Ia, Ib, or IIa) with a tumor 5 cm or smaller that has not spread to lymph nodes or other parts of the body.
- Your tumor has an EGFR mutation called exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R (a specific change in your cancer's genes).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are not able to have surgery or radiation, or you have decided not to have them after talking with your doctors.
- You have not had prior EGFR targeted therapy or other anti-cancer drugs within the last 3 months.
