Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have type 2 diabetes.
- You have been diagnosed with diabetic kidney disease through a kidney biopsy in the past 10 years.
- Your urine protein levels are very high (3.5 grams or more per day, or your urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio is over 1000 mg/g).
- Your kidney function is still at least 15 ml/min/1.73m² (based on a common test called eGFR).
- Your blood pressure is controlled to 160/100 mmHg or lower.
- Your recent blood sugar control (HbA1c) is less than 9%.
- You are willing to give informed consent.
