Who can take part
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- You must have type 2 diabetes.
- You must have kidney disease, shown by a reduced kidney function test (eGFR between 25 and 60) or by having protein in your urine (UACR score of 30 or higher).
- You must have a high risk for heart problems, for example, a past heart attack, stroke, or narrowed leg arteries, or you are 40 or older with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation).
