Who can take part

  • You have a large abdominal aortic aneurysm that needs repair.
  • You are at high risk for a type 2 endoleak (a leak that can happen after stent-graft placement).
  • You are a good candidate for standard endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR).
  • You have a life expectancy of more than 2 years.
  • You have no conditions that make EVAR unsafe.
  • Your aneurysm size is above the standard repair threshold (usually 5.5 cm for men or 5.0 cm for women).
