Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You should not have any long-term health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, or bone problems.
  • Your impacted lower wisdom tooth must be a specific type (Class II, Position B) as determined by your dentist.
  • You must not use tobacco products or take birth control pills.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You should not have taken pain relievers or anti-inflammatory drugs in the week before the study starts.
