Testing Sentio hearing device in children

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 3 and 11 years old.
  • Your child must have one of these hearing losses: conductive or mixed hearing loss in one ear, or single-sided deafness (profound loss in one ear with normal hearing in the other), or a condition where a CROS hearing aid can't be used.
  • Your child must have used a hearing aid, CROS device, or non-surgical bone-anchored device (like a softband) before.
  • Your child must not have any medical condition that makes surgery unsafe, such as uncontrolled diabetes, allergies to device materials, skin problems on the scalp, or need for frequent MRI scans.
