Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 5 and 18 years old.
  • They have a simple form of droopy eyelid (ptosis) that was present from birth or early childhood.
  • The eyelid muscle must lift the lid at least 5 millimeters (moderate to good function).
  • No previous eye surgery or injury to the eyelid.
  • No other eye or face problems like Marcus Gunn jaw-winking, narrow eye openings, or nerve issues.
  • No dry eye, weak blink, or conditions that make it hard to follow instructions.
