Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and able to make your own decisions.
  • You have prediabetes (HbA1c between 5.7% and 6.4%, or blood sugar levels in a certain range).
  • You have at least 6 natural front teeth (upper or lower, including incisors and canines).
  • You can speak, read, or understand Cantonese.
  • You can brush your teeth and use floss or interdental brushes by yourself every day.
  • You do not have type 2 diabetes, mental illness, or any mouth problem that prevents you from cleaning your teeth.
