Who can take part

  • You have a type of breast cancer called HR-positive and HER2-negative that has spread or cannot be removed with surgery.
  • Your cancer has a specific change in the PIK3CA gene, which must be confirmed by a test.
  • You have tried at least one or two hormone therapies, and the cancer has continued to grow.
  • You have taken only one type of CDK4/6 inhibitor (a class of targeted therapy) in the past, either with hormone therapy for advanced disease or as an adjuvant treatment.
  • You are generally well enough to carry out daily activities (ECOG score of 0 or 1).
  • You have not had previous treatment with certain drug classes, including PI3K inhibitors, AKT inhibitors, mTOR inhibitors, immunotherapy, or antibody-drug conjugates.
