Who can take part

  • Your eyeglass or contact lens prescription must have been stable for the past 2 years (changing less than half a step each year).
  • You must be between 18 and 40 years old.
  • Your vision before surgery should be correctable to at least 20/25 (4.8 on the chart).
  • You need to stop wearing soft contact lenses for at least 2 weeks (or hard lenses for at least 3 months) before surgery.
  • You must not have any eye diseases, previous eye surgery, or certain health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, or autoimmune diseases.
