  • You are scheduled to have cataract surgery.
  • You either have healthy eyes (no dry eye) or have been diagnosed with dry eye disease.
  • You are not currently using preservative-free artificial tears as a treatment.
  • You are not taking certain medications like antihistamines, antidepressants, or antipsychotics.
