Who can take part

  • You are 15 to 21 years old when you had surgery.
  • Before your injury, you played sports at a recreational level or higher and spent at least 100 hours a year playing.
  • You plan to return to a sport that involves cutting, jumping, or pivoting.
  • Your ACL surgery was done within 6 months of your injury, using a graft from your own patellar tendon or quadriceps tendon.
  • You can complete rehab at one of four specific TRIA locations.
  • You have not had a previous ACL injury or surgery on either leg, and you don't have any other major ligament or cartilage problems that would stop you from putting weight on your leg after surgery.
