This trial tests a new targeted drug (limertinib) plus chemotherapy (carboplatin and etoposide) for people whose EGFR-mutant lung cancer has changed into small cell lung cancer (SCLC) after prior targeted therapy. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors or slow the cancer's growth.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has an EGFR mutation (like exon 19 deletion or L858R).
  • You have already been treated with a targeted EGFR drug (like gefitinib, erlotinib, osimertinib, etc.) and your cancer got worse. A biopsy then confirmed it changed into small cell lung cancer (SCLC).
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are in fairly good health (able to do daily activities with little or no help).
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
