- Your child must be between 4 and 6 years old
- Your child must be generally healthy with no medical conditions
- Your child must be cooperative during dental visits (score 3 or 4 on the Frankl behavior scale)
- Your child must not clench or grind their teeth
- Your child's lower second baby molars must have no cavities or fillings
- Those baby molars must need sealants, as decided by the dentist
