Who can take part

  • You have a large tear in your rotator cuff (the tendons that move your shoulder) that involves at least two tendons or has pulled back to the shoulder socket, as seen on an MRI.
  • You are scheduled for rotator cuff repair surgery at Gazi University Hospital.
  • You can and will come back for ultrasound scans at 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after surgery.
  • You have not had any previous surgery on this shoulder.
  • You are able to follow rehabilitation instructions and fill out outcome forms.
