Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have open-angle glaucoma (the most common type), or you do NOT have glaucoma (for the control group).
- If you have glaucoma, your eye pressure is either high (above 21 mmHg) despite using multiple eye drops, or it is controlled (at or below 21 mmHg) with eye drops.
- You are scheduled for glaucoma surgery (if your eye pressure is uncontrolled) or you are on glaucoma eye drops (if your pressure is controlled).
- You have no other serious eye conditions besides glaucoma or cataracts.
