Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have AML with an IDH1 gene mutation (R132C, R132G, R132H, R132L, or R132S).
- You have not had any prior treatment for AML (except hydroxyurea or leukapheresis for stabilization).
- You are able to perform daily activities with little or no help (ECOG score 0-2).
- Your liver and kidney function are within acceptable limits based on blood tests.
- You agree to have blood and bone marrow samples taken during the study.
