Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older.
  • Have an IDH1 mutation in tumor testing—specifically the R132 change (other IDH1 changes like R100 may qualify after review).
  • Have AML after relapse/refractory treatment, or high-risk MDS/MDS-MPN/MPN (often after standard treatments).
  • Have enough liver and kidney function on blood tests (unless doctors think it’s caused by leukemia).
  • Be healthy enough to take part (performance status below 2) and be able to sign informed consent.
  • Have not taken ivosidenib or venetoclax before, and be free from known drug allergy to them.
