Who can take part

  • You have been recently diagnosed with leg pain when walking (claudication) due to peripheral artery disease.
  • Your ankle-brachial index (ABI) is less than 0.9, meaning blood flow to your legs is reduced.
  • You can walk without a cane or walker and can follow simple exercise instructions.
  • You have never had a leg artery procedure (like angioplasty or bypass surgery).
  • You do not have severe leg problems like constant pain, open sores, or gangrene.
  • You can use a simple activity tracker and have mobile network access at home.
