  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have end-stage renal disease (kidney failure) and have been on automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) for at least 1 month
  • You are willing to participate in the study
  • You do not plan to have a kidney transplant within the next year
  • You do not have serious heart problems (like heart attack, heart failure, or irregular heartbeat), cancer, mental illness, or liver cirrhosis
