Nerve block for knee replacement pain relief

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are scheduled for a knee replacement on one side and will stay in the hospital for at least one night
  • You do not have any bleeding problems or take blood thinners
  • You are not allergic to numbing medicines
  • You do not have dementia or a serious ongoing infection
