  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have moderate to severe depression (based on a depression rating scale).
  • You are not currently taking other antidepressants, anxiety meds, or antipsychotics (or are willing to stop them).
  • You do not have certain heart conditions or a personal/family history of long QT syndrome.
  • You are not at high risk for suicide or have not attempted suicide in the past year.
