Dapagliflozin after ICU discharge for heart and kidney health

Heart Failure and Chronic Kidney Disease Post-ICU

Treatments studied

Part of Heart & circulation, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This study tests if the drug dapagliflozin (a medicine that helps protect the heart and kidneys) can improve recovery in patients who needed a breathing machine or blood pressure support in the ICU. If you qualify, you would take the drug after leaving the ICU to see if it lowers the risk of heart or kidney problems.
