Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 80 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with lumbar spondylolisthesis (a slipped vertebra) or lumbar spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spine canal)
  • Your problem is at only one level of your lower back, specifically at L2/3, L3/4, or L4/5
  • You have tried non-surgical treatments (like physical therapy or medication) for at least 6 months without success
  • You have not had any prior surgery on your lower back or the area behind your abdominal organs
