Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with lupus (SLE) for at least 6 months and your disease is still active despite treatment.
  • Your lupus activity score (SLEDAI-2K) is 7 or more, or you have serious organ problems like kidney inflammation (nephritis) or low platelet count.
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have not had certain B-cell targeting drugs (like rituximab) in the last 6 months, or other biologics (like belimumab) in the last 12 weeks.
  • You are not pregnant, and you agree to use effective birth control for at least 1 year after treatment.
  • You have adequate organ function, such as acceptable kidney function (creatinine clearance ≥ 50 mL/min), liver and blood counts within safe limits.
