Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with moderate to severe major depression and are eligible for antidepressant medication
  • You have not taken any psychiatric medication in the last 5 days (or 21 days for specific drugs like fluoxetine or aripiprazole), except for some sleep aids or anti-anxiety medications
  • You do not have schizophrenia, an unstable medical condition, or an autoimmune disease like Crohn's or thyroiditis
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can read and understand French
