Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your daily activity level is good (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • You have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus, stage II, III, or IVA (by imaging).
  • Your cancer cannot be removed by surgery, or you have chosen not to have surgery.
  • You have not had any previous cancer treatment (like chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy).
