Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
- You must have had thyroid surgery through the front of your neck, either within the last 15 days or up to one year ago.
- Your scar must be in the middle of your neck and look like a straight line.
- You cannot have had any other neck surgery before.
- You cannot be pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
- You cannot have a history of keloids (raised scars) or slow wound healing.
- You must not be using certain medications like blood thinners or steroids.
- You must be able to follow the study schedule and instructions.
