Who can take part

  • You have advanced liver cancer that cannot be cured with surgery or other local treatments.
  • Your cancer has grown during or after one or two prior treatments (excluding cabozantinib), or you had side effects from those treatments.
  • Your liver function is fairly good (Child-Pugh class A or B7/B8) and you have no serious liver-related complications like recent confusion from liver disease or fluid buildup needing drainage.
  • You are able to take oral medications, are at least 18 years old, and have a good ability to do daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • Your blood counts and organ function meet specific lab thresholds (like enough neutrophils, hemoglobin, platelets, and healthy kidneys and liver).
  • You agree to use effective contraception during the study and for a period after treatment ends.
