This trial tests a new drug called zanzalintinib for people with advanced liver cancer (HCC) that can't be treated with surgery. You may join if your cancer has gotten worse after at least one prior treatment, or you couldn't tolerate that treatment.

Who can take part
- You have advanced liver cancer that cannot be cured with surgery or other local treatments.
- Your cancer has grown during or after one or two prior treatments (excluding cabozantinib), or you had side effects from those treatments.
- Your liver function is fairly good (Child-Pugh class A or B7/B8) and you have no serious liver-related complications like recent confusion from liver disease or fluid buildup needing drainage.
- You are able to take oral medications, are at least 18 years old, and have a good ability to do daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts and organ function meet specific lab thresholds (like enough neutrophils, hemoglobin, platelets, and healthy kidneys and liver).
- You agree to use effective contraception during the study and for a period after treatment ends.
