Who can take part
- You are 18 to 100 years old.
- You have a leg amputation (above or below the knee) that happened more than 3 months ago.
- Your phantom limb pain (pain in the missing leg) has been moderately severe (over 4 on a 0-10 scale) in the past month.
- You don't have serious memory or thinking problems that would interfere with the study.
- You don't have a history of stroke, traumatic brain injury, or uncontrolled psychiatric conditions.
- You are not currently abusing alcohol or drugs, and you are not pregnant or nursing.
