Who can take part
- You have newly diagnosed MDS (a bone marrow disorder) with at least 10% abnormal cells in the bone marrow.
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your MDS is classified as higher risk with a score above 4.5 on a standard test (IPSS-R).
- You have good enough organ function, like a heart pumping ability of at least 50%, normal liver enzymes, and good kidney function.
- You have an ECOG performance status of 0 to 2 (meaning you are fully active or up and about more than 50% of the time).
- You are planning to receive a stem cell transplant from a donor.
