Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 50 years old at the time of surgery.
  • You are scheduled for an ACL reconstruction using specific tendons from your own hamstring (gracilis and semitendinosus) with the over-the-top technique and LET.
  • You have not had any previous surgery on the same leg (like meniscus removal or prior ACL surgery).
  • You do not have other ligament injuries that need separate surgery.
  • You are not having any extra procedures done at the same time (like bone cuts, meniscus transplant, or cartilage work).
  • You are willing and able to give your consent to join the study.
