Who can take part
- Your child is at least one month old.
- Your child was transferred to Children's Hospital Colorado for emergency or inpatient care.
- Your child had signs of sepsis (a serious body-wide infection) either at the referring ER, during transport, or within the first 6 hours after arriving at the hospital.
- If signs of sepsis appeared within 24 hours of arrival, three emergency doctors had to agree that sepsis was likely.
- The recording of your child's transfer call must be available in the study database.
