Who can take part
- You are 75 years or older with high blood pressure, or 65 to 75 with high blood pressure and at least one additional risk factor like obesity, diabetes, sleep apnea, heart disease, or kidney disease.
- You have never been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation.
- You are not currently taking medications that affect heart rhythm.
- You do not have a history of dangerous ventricular arrhythmias.
- Your thyroid condition is well-controlled, and you do not have severe chronic lung disease.
