Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have newly diagnosed liver cancer (HCC) confirmed by biopsy.
- Your tumor is either larger than standard limits (Milan criteria) or within those limits but with a high alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) level (≥400 ng/mL).
- Your cancer has not spread to blood vessels or other parts of the body.
- Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh score A or B7 without fluid in the belly).
- You are healthy enough for daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
