Who can take part

  • You’re age 18 or older, and you can sign consent.
  • You have confirmed liver cancer (HCC) that can be measured, or can be assessed, and it is not spread outside the liver.
  • A liver transplant is an option for you, and your doctors also consider you able to receive TACE treatment.
  • Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh score A6 or less).
  • Your performance status is good (ECOG 0–1), and you can reasonably expect to live at least 6 months.
  • Your blood counts and organ function meet lab limits, and you have been checked recently (within 14 days).
