Who can take part

  • You are scheduled to have a TAVR procedure (a new heart valve placed through a tube in your leg).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • The procedure is done through the femoral artery in your leg.
  • You do not have a skull fracture or a collapsed lung.
  • You are not allergic to propofol or remifentanil (medications used for sedation).
