Who can take part

  • Your baby was born between 26 and 40 weeks of pregnancy (preterm or full-term).
  • Your baby is between 1 day and 44 weeks old (corrected age) and weighs 2.2 to 7.7 pounds.
  • Your baby is in the NICU and needs breathing support, such as a ventilator, CPAP, or high-flow nasal cannula (at least 2 liters per minute).
  • Your baby does not have severe heart or lung birth defects, genetic conditions, skin problems where the sensor would go, or a chest shape that prevents the sensor from lying flat.
