Who can take part
- Your baby must be 28 days old or younger and weigh more than 1000 grams (about 2.2 pounds) at birth or now.
- Your baby must have mild to moderate trouble breathing (a doctor can check this with a score).
- You must give permission for your baby to be in the study.
- Your baby must not have a birth defect that makes using a breathing mask unsafe (like a diaphragmatic hernia, cleft palate, or a problem with the food pipe).
