Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 6 and 12 years old and attend a public elementary school in certain parts of Chiba City.
  • You (the parent or guardian) must be able to read and understand Japanese well enough to give permission and fill out surveys.
  • Your child must be healthy enough to do school and community activities without special medical help.
  • Your family must not be planning to move out of Chiba City during the study.
  • Your child must agree to take part, even if you give permission.
