Who can take part
- You or your child must be at least 4 years old.
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of AIPL1-related retinal disease with two changes in the AIPL1 gene.
- Vision in the eye to be treated must be no better than approximately 20/70 on an eye chart.
- You cannot have had certain eye surgeries in the past 6 months or other serious eye diseases.
- You cannot have uncontrolled high blood pressure, poorly controlled diabetes, or certain infections or cancers.
