Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 75 years old
  • You have type 2 diabetes diagnosed within the last 10 years and are not on insulin
  • Your HbA1c (a measure of blood sugar) is 7% or higher
  • You get less than 150 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous activity per week (like brisk walking or cycling)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 27 or higher, and you weigh less than 140 kg (about 308 pounds)
