Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 74 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth type 1A through a genetic test.
  • You can walk at least 200 meters without stopping (with or without a cane or walker).
  • You have had a heart check-up (ECG and heart ultrasound) in the last 6 months, or have one scheduled.
  • You have not had surgery on your legs or feet in the last year, and do not plan to have surgery during the study.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant in the next 4 months.
