Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with invasive breast cancer that hasn't spread to other parts of the body.
  • Planning to receive chemotherapy before surgery (neoadjuvant chemotherapy).
  • Fairly active and able to take care of yourself (ECOG performance status 0-2).
  • Good kidney, liver, and bone marrow function (confirmed by blood tests).
  • Not taking melatonin now or in the past month, and not allergic to it.
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding, and no autoimmune disease.
