  • Diagnosed with persistent ITP lasting 3 to 12 months
  • No previous use of thrombopoietin agonist drugs (medicines that boost platelet production)
  • No history of severe allergic reaction to IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin therapy)
  • No history of bleeding inside the head (intracranial hemorrhage)
  • No problems with getting IV access (easy-to-reach veins)
