This study looks at how young adults who have been intentionally hurt by someone else and use alcohol or cannabis may be helped by a hospital program. If you join, you will answer questions about your substance use and experiences over time.

Who can take part
- You were intentionally injured by someone who is not your boyfriend, girlfriend, fiancé, or spouse in the past year (for Aim 1) or came to Yale New Haven Hospital's ER for that kind of injury (for Aims 2 and 3).
- You are between 18 and 25 years old.
- You currently misuse alcohol and/or cannabis.
- You speak English and can agree to take part in the study.
- You are not currently in a formal addiction treatment program and are not in police custody.
