Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a complete blockage in the lower part of your main artery (aorta) or in one or both of the arteries that go to your legs (common iliac arteries).
  • The blocked area is at least 30 mm (about 1.2 inches) long.
  • You have severe leg pain at rest or disabling leg cramps when walking, and trying supervised exercise therapy hasn't helped enough.
  • You are willing to follow the study's schedule and understand what is involved.
