Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have had hepatitis B (HBsAg positive) for at least 6 months.
  • Your hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg) is negative.
  • Your HBsAg level is 1500 IU/mL or lower.
  • Your ALT level is below 400 IU/L.
  • You have not taken interferon in the past year, and you do not have fatty liver disease from metabolic issues (like being overweight, high blood sugar, or high cholesterol).
