Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You have been hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) positive for at least 6 months
- You are negative for hepatitis B 'e' antigen (HBeAg)
- Your HBsAg level is 1500 IU/mL or lower
- You do not have metabolic fatty liver disease (for example, you are not overweight, do not have diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not drink excessive alcohol
